Trip cancellation, hospital and medical insurance are an important part of travel. Manulife Canada is the the insurance coverage provider.

 

If you have your own insurance coverage, that works too!

Sales tax

Please note if you are a resident one of the following provinces , that a provincial sales tax applies in addition to the premium.

Ontario and Manitoba  add 8%; Quebec add 9%

 

Total Package Insurance 

               

  • No age limit

  • Family rates available for under age 60

  • The all-inclusive plan offers the convenience of purchasing combined coverage in one policy.          

  • No Medical Questionnaire required – Eligibility Requirements must be met for ages 75 and over (see below)                    

  • Baggage Loss, Damage - Up to $300 per item to a maximum of $1,500 for lost, stolen or damaged personal effects                    

  • Baggage Delay - Up to $500 to buy necessary clothes and toiletries in the case of baggage delay     

  • Missed Connection - Up to $2,000 for same class transportation to catch up with the trip if your client's flight schedule changes, causing a misconnection, and up to $350 per day for up to 2 days for hotel and meal expenses                    

  • Delayed Return - Up to $350 per day (to maximum of $3,500) for hotel and meal expenses if a covered risk prevents a scheduled return

Non Med Cancellation Insurance 

  • No age limit.

  • This non-medical package plan is for those looking for a package plan to complement their existing travel emergency medical coverage.                    

  • Baggage Loss, Damage - Up to $300 per item to a maximum of $1,500 for lost, stolen or damaged personal effects

Additional Eligibility Requirements for the All-Inclusive Plan and the Canada All-Inclusive Plan:

 

If you are age 75 or older and you are applying for the All-Inclusive Plan or the Canada All-Inclusive Plan, you must also meet all of the following Eligibility Requirements:  

                  

In the last 12 months, you have not used or been prescribed home oxygen;        

            

  • You have never had (and you are not awaiting) a bone marrow or organ transplant (except corneal transplant);                    

  • In the last 12 months, you have not required kidney dialysis;                    

  • You have not been diagnosed with AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), AIDS-related conditions or HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus);                    

  • You have not been diagnosed with a terminal illness for which a physician has estimated you have less than 6 months to live or been advised by a physician not to travel at this time;                    

  • In the last 12 months, you have not been prescribed or taken Lasix or furosemide for any reason or had heart failure;                    

  • In the last 5 years, you have not been diagnosed with and/or been prescribed or taken medication and/or received treatment for metastatic cancer;                    

  • You have never received a diagnosis and/or had treatment and/or been in hospital and/or been prescribed or taken medication for 2 of the following 3 conditions: diabetes • stroke • ANY heart condition;                    

  • You have not had a heart bypass or heart valve surgery more than 10 years ago;          

  • In the last 12 months you have not received a new diagnosis and/or been in hospital and/or had a change in medication and/or experienced new or more severe                    

  • Symptoms for ANY heart condition.                    

IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL OF THE ABOVE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE THE ALL-INCLUSIVE PLAN OR THE CANADA ALL-INCLUSIVE PLAN.
